I've been buying pizza for the office staff the past few weeks from a great restaurant up the road called "Not Your Average Joe's". Their food is great, but last week I was really disappointed. Not with their food, but with their service. Not that it was lousy, but rather incompetent. Here's what happened: I called in the order, gave my credit card number (American Express), and then one of our employees went to pick up the order. In about 15 minutes he came back, saying they wouldn't give him the pizza because there weren't enough numbers in the credit card number. I called them back, and had to explain that American Express cards only have 15 numbers, not 16. Problem resolved, my employee drove back to pick up the pizza, now cold. You can probably understand why I was disappointed with this type of service.
