Get Fresh Rotisserie & Grill in Quincy, MA

My wife and I were on our way through Quincy Center for some dinner when we accidentally happened upon the Get Fresh Rotisserie & Grill on the side of one of the main buildings in Quincy Center. It is on the side of the main building towards the town hall. I had the steak tips with rice pilaf, carrots and steak tips without bbq sauce, and my wife had a spicy peanut sauce chicken rollup. DELICIOUS! Like the name of the place, the food was very fresh. It was simple, good food. The flavoring was subtle and good. The interior is really comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. For the price, I thought our dinner was excellent. If we paid any more, I would have expected more service, but I prefer paying less and bussing my own table. That's a common practice in Quincy, and it seems to work well for the customer base here. There are a few fancier restaurants around if your are into that sort of thing.

I had a great experience here too. The quality of the food belies the prices which are extraordinarily reasonable. I had Hummos with Grilled Mediterranean Veggies for appetizers which were absolutely delicious. For main meal I had one of the many specials, Grilled Polenta with Sausage and Tuscan Style Vegetables. A melange of grilled tomatoes, onions, mushrooms and other savory seasonings with authentic Italian sausage atop layers of crispy on the outside, moist and tender on the inside, golden wedges of cornmeal. A wonderful fusion of flavors, textures, and colors. And the abundant portion was also noteworthy. The entree came with a side order of garden salad included in the price. What kind of place does that anymore? I opted to substitute it for a Greek salad which again blew away my expectations. The feta cheese tasted like what feta tastes like in Greece, and the vegetables fresh, crisp and tasty. The meal ended with the most delicious bread pudding I’ve ever tasted, a specialty of Julie’s.
All in all it was a great night and I was thrilled to have found the kind of restaurant that I had been envisioning and hoping for, for quite some time now.

Hi Jeff, thanks for commenting. I haven't been back yet but really need to go again - thanks for the reminder!

My pleasure. If I lived in Quincy I'd probably be in there several times a week!
