Kashi Pizza

Can pizza be healthy? Actually it is pretty healthy - it combines starch (the dough), vegetables (tomato sauce and toppings), and protein (cheese). The cheese can be fattening, but I get enough exercise to no gain too much weight from the amount of pizza I eat (a lot). Tonight I tried a Kashi frozen pizza. Kashi has done a great job establishing its brand as a healthy, tasty food provider. I've enjoyed their cereals for years, and more recently, their frozen dinners. True to its name, the Kashi pizza was delicious. Granted, I added on some extra cheese and some salt, but I think even without those add-ons it would have been good. I'm not sure if the Kashi pizza can compete with Trader Joe's frozen pizza, but seeing how we only go to TJ's once every couple of months, I'm sure we'll get more of the Kashi pizza.

I love frozen pizza. If you ask me, the Ellios brand can't be beat. Probably not as healthy as the Kashi pizza, but still very tasty.
