Revisiting Salad

SaladIts been months, if not eons, since we've made salad at home. Tonight we're garnishing the table with some Boston Lettuce, remixed up some mushrooms, lightly toasted almonds, and dried cranberries. With that lay-up, I prefer a sweeter dressing over savory. Maybe something as simple (tis a gift, no?) as oil and balsamic vinegar. So why revisit salad? It tastes tasty, and its a nice appetizer, getting you in the groove for a hearty meal, and there are some vicious rumors about that salad is healthy. Why not?And for our main course... what else? Pizza! We got some dough from Bertucci's and some diced tomatoes from Whole Foods.
