Square Watermelons???

So apparently now they can grow square watermelons. Now I've seen it all. At first I figured this was the result of freaky gene splicing experiment. Mixing the DNA of a watermelon with that of a rubix cube, or something of that nature. But I guess the answer is a lot simpler than that. Basically they take the watermelons and grown them in cube shaped plastic containers so that as they grow, they are forced to take on the shape of the enclosure.Aside from the cool look, the original idea was conceived to make them easier to store and control space issues. You can stack them together, or neatly place one in your refrigerator. It would be cool to see if they could pull this trick off with other produce. Carving a square pumpkin sounds like a blast.
