The FDA recently ruled that cloned beef is safe for human consumption. Even with that seal of approval, I doubt many people will want to eat cloned beef. Would you? This raises the question whether or not food providers should be required to identify cloned food, as opposed to non-cloned food. There is a similar debate about genetically modified foods. Do you think food providers should be required to label those foods as well?Personally, I'm actually OK with genetically modified foods (well vegetables at least), but I'm not so comfortable with cloned beef. To really get to the bottom of this debate, I've posted it as a topic in the Hungry Blogger Forums.
