I just started drinking protein shakes on a daily basis after my workouts. Right now I'm using the Met-Rx Chocolate Ultramyosyn Whey Powder. I have one scoop twice a day with a glass of lowfat milk. It's surprisingly tasty and its a good way of bulking up after workouts. The guy at the store recommended this particular brand. I paid 32 bucks for a five pound container of the stuff. Not really a bad price, and it should last me a few months. Protein powder is a good way of aiding a consistent weight training routine. Plenty of protein helps build muscles. You can also get a good source of protein by eating foods such as chicken and fish.

Trader Joe's has good protein shake mix too. How do you prepare it? I used to whip it up with milk, ice and a banana. Yum! Maybe even some coffee too. :-)
I usually just throw some skim milk in with it. Boring I know. I'll probably give it a try with the banana. That sounds good.
