Last night,
instead of going to Olive Garden, I went to Panera Bread. It was a bit of a trek but easy to find. I bought a small baguette, a sandwich, and a salad, totaling $15. I was dumbfounded to learn that the small baguette was $2.49. Ouch!The greek salad I got could have had a few more olives and feta cheese, and the roast beef could have been leaner, but I was satisfied. The food is good. But I doubt I'll ever buy one of those baguettes again - too expensive.
