Tomorrow I'm giving the smoker another try. My goal is to smoke two chickens.I'll be peeling and stuffing an apple inside each one, and then laying bacon on top of them to keep them covered in delicious dripping fats. I hope they turn out all right.My plan is to turn the carcasses into soup. I tossed most of my home made chicken stock before we moved, so I'll have to rebuild the stash.

We have a smoker too, and we love it. I have to say I am not much of a meat eater but love when my husband made smoked salmon and blue fish. I am generally not a huge blue fish fan, only if its right off the boat and grilled, but it was fantastic smoked.
How did the chickens come out?
