I love Japanese food. And it is so satisfying when you go out for a really good Japanese meal. My one problem right now is that I am pregnant, well that is not a problem so to speak but when it comes to eating sushi it is. I am restricted to eating only the cooked selections of sushi. But when you go to a place like Haruki, in our neighborhood, the cooked selection can be just as good. I ordered the Wayland Square which has shrimp tempura, masago, avocado and eel sauce, the Spicy Scallop with big pieces of scallop and a spicy mayo on top, and some unagi (cooked eel). All totally delicious- my husband, at my wish devoured some salmon and spicy tuna- two of my favorites. My little one isn't eating sushi yet, she hasn't expressed mush interest as I think she is far too satisfied with the chicken yakisoba and the miso soup.
