For my niece’s birthday party yesterday, my brother-in-law ordered five pizzas from a local shop in Pawtucket, Village Pizza. Their menu looked pretty cheesy, no pun intended, so I didn’t know what to expect.
After he ordered them, he boasted of how many specialty pizzas they have: thirty plus! For the party, he ordered:
- Black olive pizza (my niece’s favorite “olly pizza”)
- Mediterranean pizza - eggplant, feta, and spinach
- Philly steak and cheese pizza - wow
- Chicken something - can’t remember the name, but it was my favorite
- Veggie supreme
Although the chicken pizza was my favorite, I at a couple of veggie slices, as I’ve just listened to a bunch of the “In Defense of Food” audio-book by Michael Pollan with my sister. The book seems to advocate eating whole, not processed food.
