One of my biggest vices is going out to lunch for a sandwich or sub. I love it, all the delicious toppings and spreads yumm. All freshly stacked together to make a delicious lunch time treat. Unfortunately these days the name of the game is budget, and we're on one over at my house. The trick is how do you make lunch every day of the week, and not get boring soggy sandwich?Veggies are key right? if it doesn't have lettuce and tomato why bother in my opinion, but if you make it in the morning and bring it with you 9 times out of 10 the bread is tragically soggy, and the whole sandwich is ruined! The way I usually get around this problem is put all my veggies in a plastic bag on the side. It may seem like a granny move, but I'd rather look silly than be angry about soggy bread.
