Well I tried for a little while, unfortunately my limited funds and a Cinco de Mayo party ended a fairly cool experiment. I was enjoying life with out processed sugars for the most part. My energy was up, and my skin was looking mighty clear. Unfortunately a tight budget limited my ability to shop, which meant frugality took over diet restrictions. That and an Island Oasis machine at a friend's Cinco de Mayo party. The mud sliders were so good. I tried to bring a sugar free alternative to the mixes, but the person who was in charge of the machine wouldn't let us put fresh fruit in it. We won't go there. I made the decision to go for it, cause it's not often you get to enjoy those types of drinks at a house party.I'm interested in trying it again only this time with a more defined area of do's and do not's. Too many grey areas made it difficult for me to know what was ok, and what was breaking my own rules. For the mere fact of how good my complexion was when I was not eating any processed sugars is enough incentive to pick it up on a more long term basis.
