I just read an article that said they found traces of cocaine in Red Bull in China. the drink had been imported from Austria, its country of origin. The sodas were said to contain .1 - .3 micro grams per liter. Sources say the volume of the narcotic is not harmful, but it violates food laws.I'm so amazed by the ludicrousness of the article I'm reading that I went looking for another source, apparently they found .4 micrograms per liter in Germany. I've worked with a fair amount of recoering addicts and I know many who drink those things. This makes me angry. I guess High Fructose Corn Syrup is one of the more benign things they can throw in your food now isn't it?What's next rat poison?
