I finally opened the can of Bar Harbor Smoked Mackerel I bought a few weeks ago.
The fish had a much stronger smoked flavor than I expected. It was very good, but a little salty. The smoky flavor was so strong, it almost reminded me of smoked oysters.
I ate half the can with crackers, and put the other half into a tuna casserole I made tonight. This picture of the fish is low quality but I'll include it anyway.
