Bitter gourd is an interesting vegetable. It kind of looks like a funkified cucumber, but is actually much different. It is much more rigid and solid, and a completely different taste.
The bitter gourd above is being pan fried. While some bitter gourd can be, well, bitter, the ones I ate were not, they were delicious!
